About this profile
You would work on the electrical side of industrial equipment: schematics, control cabinet documentation and automation engineering support for equipment manufacturers, shipyards and process plants.
Assignments are agreed with the customer team. The work is usually done remotely, with site visits when the project needs them.
What you would work on
- Prepare electrical schematics and control cabinet documentation
- Support PLC and SCADA engineering for industrial equipment
- Specify and size drives, motors and other electrical components
- Update drawings and revision records after design changes
- Support I/O checkout, FAT and SAT when the project requires it
- Raise technical questions early and agree the answers with customer engineers
What we look for
- Degree or equivalent experience in electrical or automation engineering
- Experience producing electrical schematics with an electrical CAD tool
- Working knowledge of PLC and control system documentation
- Clear written and spoken English
Nice to have
- Experience with marine or shipyard projects
- Commissioning experience on site
- Finnish or Estonian
