About this profile
You would design and document the mechanical parts of industrial equipment and marine installations, from first layouts to manufacturing drawings.
Our customers are equipment manufacturers, equipment suppliers and shipyards. You work with their engineers and follow their project requirements and processes.
What you would work on
- Build 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks or Inventor
- Prepare equipment layouts and structural design
- Produce manufacturing drawings and bills of materials
- Design retrofits and modifications for existing equipment and vessels
- Support piping and equipment integration using 3D laser scanning point clouds
- Agree design questions with customer engineers
What we look for
- Degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering
- Proficiency in 3D CAD, for example SolidWorks or Inventor
- Experience preparing manufacturing drawings
- Clear written and spoken English
Nice to have
- Retrofit or marine experience
- Experience designing from point-cloud scans
- Finnish or Estonian
